Beyond Doubt and Fear, the Path of Warriorship in Sobriety

“Real fearlessness is the product of tenderness. It comes from letting the world tickle your heart, your raw and beautiful heart. You are willing to open up, without resistance or shyness, and face the world. You are willing to share your heart with others.”

? Chögyam Trungpa

Taking a wide view approach we will discover that meditation is not just for the 11th Step. Join us as we explore the connection of the Shambhala Path of Warriorship and the Twelve Steps of recovery. Through a progression of longer sitting and walking meditation we will look at how the concepts of bravery and fearlessness can further our recovery from addiction.

This program is open to all who are (but not limited to):

  • 12 Step practitioners from any program

  • Buddhist practitioners from any lineage

  • Those looking beyond the rooms and religion at how the role of meditation can aid in the recovery from addiction
