The basis of Shambhala culture is to see all aspects of our lives and the lives of others as an opportunity to practice our principles, to extend gentleness, and to rejoice together.
The Shambhala Office of Culture and Decorum is one of the major offices of the Governance Pillar in our Shambhala Centre and as part of our worldwide mandala.

Culture is the binding factor of a society, and reflects the embodiments of the Shambhala teachings in a community. With our “forms” we invoke drala, infuse the community with authentic presence, and create an atmosphere that is conducive to practice and genuine communication.

Simply put, the office of Culture and Decorum exists to make people and the Centre feel uplifted and to have a clean and organized space in which to learn and practice, with clear instruction on what should happen when.
Join our Director of Culture and Decorum, Dianne Kipp, as we explore the book "Introduction to Shambhala Culture and Decorum" to understand some basic principles of this very rich form of Shambhala culture.

Light refreshments will be provided. Love offerings always appreciated.
