Come enjoy an an opportunity to strengthen and deepen your practice!

Meditation with the sangha is a very important aspect for practitioners at every level. Sunday sessions include recitation of morning chants (first 15 minutes) followed by extended sitting/walking meditation practice. Shamatha and other lineage practices will be done simultaneously, all in silence. You may come and go at any time during the 9-12 time period.

    New to Meditation?

At 11:00 am one of our senior teachers will provide a brief introduction to our center, followed by meditation instruction. The Shambhala instructors at our center are experienced practitioners, thoroughly trained to provide guidance, support and direction to students. The meditation that we practice is called shamatha meditation which means "peaceful abiding". Click here for more information on this type of mediation.

At noon we will host a "soup and salad social" lunch. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the teachers & community, and also a chance to learn a little of what Shambhala Buddhism is all about.

We humbly accept donations that will be used to maintain the space.
